The Dubai trip is nearing its end so our team was busy attending the last few events before heading back to the office. Dubai was nothing short of amazing and we got the opportunity to meet lots of different people. Let’s take a look at our main updates for this week.
Our CEO spoke on a panel at the AIBC Summit
Our CEO, Jonathan Camilleri Bowman, spoke on a panel at the AIBC Awards. The panel took place on the GameFi stage and was focused on IDOs and Launchpads.
World Blockchain Summit
One of the final events in Dubai was the World Blockchain Summit. This event took place at Atlantis, The Palm, in Dubai on the 23rd and 24th of March. The focus was on Blockchain, Crypto, NFT, the Metaverse, Web 3.0 ecosystems and their wide-reaching effect on commerce, culture, and communities.

The Value of an NFT
NFTs can be digital art, music, videos, or even GIFs, among other formats. And, even though anybody can screenshot or download copies of a piece of digital art someone has purchased as an NFT, the true owner is still recorded on the blockchain. Read more about it here.
What is Carbon Neutral Bitcoin & is it Achievable?
The process of mining for Bitcoin involves solving computational puzzles to verify transactions between users. These are added to the blockchain to be validated. All of this is an energy-intensive process hence the issue with carbon footprint. Read more here.
