Weekly Update 18th March 2022
This week we were super excited about the launch of our new website. We had been working on this for a while now and we’re so happy that it is finally live. Apart from that, we're also busy attending events in Dubai and meeting lots of interesting people. Let’s take a look at what our week looked like.
WOW summit
Our CMBDO and Partnerships and Business Development Manager started off the week with the WOW Summit Festival. Apart from that, we got a chance to even attend the WOW Pre-party where we met a real lot of interesting people.
Lots of Events and Networking
Dubai presents itself with lots of opportunities to attend conferences, events and meet-ups. This week, we visited Crypto Expo Dubai and World of Web3, as well as an LBANK VC Meet-up, ECOX meet-up and several exclusive crypto parts in Dubai. During all of these events, we have been meeting with: CEXs/DEXs/L1s and L2s which helped to secure new partnership opportunities while learning more about how the industry is evolving.

GameFi in the World of Crypto
As game makers look at adding NFTs and other blockchain-based features to games, many hard-core gamers worry they are simply looking for yet another way to milk them for money. Then there are a number of things that could go wrong in GameFi, besides the usual worry for token values to plummet.
Regular people playing these games can lose out to bots — there are programs designed to play these games for profit that can post millions of transactions a day. Sunflower Farmers, a game in which players are rewarded for planting and harvesting digital crops, had to take its website down to fix a vulnerability bots exploited; its SFF token fell from $5.25 on Jan 2nd to 8 cents by Jan 13th, per currency tracker CoinMarketCap.
