Weekly Update 11th March 2022

Our super exciting month just kicked off this week. Our team arrived in Dubai on Monday ready to attend all the planned conferences for this month. The first event was Meta Week which was a great success. We met a lot of interesting people already and made some good contacts. Let’s take a look at this week’s updates:

Meta Week

As mentioned, our first conference was Meta Week which took place from the 7th to the 10th of March at Le Meridien Dubai Hotel. During these four days, we attended several interesting talks all related to blockchain and the metaverse.

A Month Since we Launched our Portal

This week, we celebrated our one month anniversary since we officially launched our portal. We opened up the portal’s ecosystem for users to perform identity management, regulatory compliance, KYC, KYB, AML and Onchain Analysis checks using crypto as a payment method. AIBC awards

We got shortlisted for the AIBC summit awards. We were nominated for the KYC Solution of the Year award. We’re very grateful that we got this opportunity once again. Vote for Sekuritance here.

Finance in a Post-Covid World

For our first blog post, we looked at the financial landscape after COVID-19. The future financial landscape will be largely shaped by firms that are able to anticipate tomorrow, while also delivering on the priorities required of them today. Regtech and Telecommunications: The Next Big Partnership?

We also looked at the relationship between Regtech and Telecom. RegTech helps governments, regulatory bodies and companies in their efforts to ensure compliance and combat fraud in the telecom and financial services sectors, which gives rise to a number of startups that aim to meet the demand through innovation.
