Sekuritance’s First NFT Drop via Whales.org was a Success
On Friday the 24th of December 2021, Sekuritance, the RegTech Compliance-as-a-Service Solution, launched the first of the Sekuritance Button Collection (One of the many unique character sets) as NFTs on the Polygon chain. This initiative also stemmed from a CSR plan with Sekuritance, where a chunk of the proceeds were given to the Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC). More information can be found here.
Being Sekuritance’s first NFT being minted, the team wasn’t sure on the outcome, but the hype was real, and the NFT was sold within less than 3 days by a very generous individual. Given this great news, the first thing the team did was donate a major portion of the earnings to the Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC). In the meanwhile, Sekuritance decided to adopt a bottlenose dolphin named Spirit.
Spirit is a very active and social female dolphin. She has four daughters: Sparkle, Shimmer, Sprite and the youngest, Spriggan. Sparkle gave birth in 2015, so Spirit is one of the youngest grandmothers in this population of bottlenose dolphins. Spirit is cheeky, loves playing games and enjoys a good get-together with other dolphins who travel over wide areas of coastline.
Whales and dolphins play a vital role in the health of our planet and have the right to life and freedom.
This NFT launch via a RegTech partner is only the beginning of what is in store for Sekuritance to engage with its community. The plan behind NFTs for Sekuritance is both on levels of function and benefit. Certain NFTs minted by Sekuritance via opensea will provide properties which will give both businesses and users added functionality, speed etc. when utilising the Sekuritance portal.
